I would choose a gun. I would hate to kill an animal like that even if they were a threat but... regular ol' people will still fight after being stabbed so I would not risk my life with a knife. With bear spray you have to get close enough to spray it and that is scary. Get a gun, htats my opinion.

Is it Grizzly or Black Bear? I would suggest you use a very big oven. I do not think the Bear will fit into a microwave, unless you cut it up very well. I suggest that keep some Tobasco sauce handy, to add flavor to the bear meat. Let us know how it goes.
