Many people are investing in classic cars as the market continues to grow in strength, but one collection in particular stands put from the crowd. The most expensive single-car collection ever was sold by an anonymous Florida car collector. All 25 cars were sold on Thursday by RM Sothebys at auction.
The incredible auction was just one of many at the Concours dElegance event in Pebble Beach, California. Some of the cars sold included a 1998 Mclaren F1 LM, which sold for $13.75 million dollars in the end; the last Ferrari Enzo ever produced (which was given to Pope John Paul II) fetched just over $6 million and a Koenigsegg CCXR for $825,000.
